Assume that the appropriate privacy and security controls were in place and that you "owned" your data. It would be as if it was stored virtually in a warehouse and accessible when you needed it instantly and interactively together with the data of other clients - the "virtual warehouse" would have security and reliability mechanisms in place to insure access and data integrity.
