Good Morning.

My name is Barbara Chang and I was invited to join this elite group by Mario and Daniel Ben-Horin of CompuMentor just recently.

I am launching a new not-for-profit in New York City, which will be an affiliate of NPower, an organization located in Seattle whose mission is to assist other nonprofits utilize technology to become more effective and efficient at serving their missions. In New York, NPowerNY will offer a variety of direct services to nonprofits including technology assessment and planning, plan implementation and training. In addition we will be piloting a workforce development program aimed at infusing the nonprofit sector with skilled IT staff.

NPowerNY has a number of corporate and foundation supporters and we are in the midst of readying ourselves for a Spring '01 launch. Looking forward to this important discussion.
