Paul McElligott has been Executive Director of Perry School Community Services Center, Inc. (PSCSC) since 1997. A lawyer by profession, he had been Executive Director of North Capitol Neighborhood Development, a community development corporation, for 15 years. The Perry School Community Services Center is a multifaceted human services center with 12 organizations providing collaborating services in health, day care, youth development, computer learning, art and dance, college preparation, job training, counseling and placement, social services, housing counseling, and other community services. The Center is located in a low-income community, whose residents are a majority of the Center's governing Board. PSCSC, Inc. participated in a two-year pilot Youth Development Collaborative sponsored by the Morino Institute, which created a 15-station networked learning center and provided extensive staff training in youth development and the application of computer technology to youth development.
